Session on Building Your Brand and Your Practice through Thriving Online Communities

Presented by the amazing Wayne Schmidt. This fellow is amazing when it comes to social media and how to build your brand online. What I love is how he addressed the one of the biggest issues indiviudals have when using social media: Content. Most individuals won’t engage on social media because they can’t think of content. Which is a shame because that is how the future is going to prospect clients. Wayne came to the rescue. Here are some quick ways to get content to share on your social medial channels:

Session on Growth through Client Replication: The Pumpkin Plan

Mike Michalowicz with The Pumpkin Plan to find out about how to market and grow your firm. Here are a couple of key points that were taken away form this session

“Identify the thing you do better than anyone else and focus all of your attention, money and time on figuring out how to grow your company doing it”

“Determine which customers add the most value and provide the best opportunities for sustained growth”

“Discover the unfilled needs your clients, innovate to make their wishes come true, and deliver on every single promise”

All of which can be simple done by simply asking your best clients what you do well. What they like about you. Then take that information and see if you can do it better.

Finding your inner integrator!

Here are my favourite applications that either integrate or soon will with QBO.

WagePoint – It’s live now!! Your one stop shop to outsource your payroll pain.

Hubdoc – The most amazing app that has saved my sanity and made my clients Happy. Why? Because I am no long nagging them for documents like bank statements.

17 Hats – This is a CRM which will soon integrate with QBO here in Canada. The USA will be first.

Until tomorrow’s report.

Cheers!
